What will therapy be like? Our goal is to first and foremost provide a warm and trusting space where you can feel safe. Our time together will include an initial evaluation of your needs and any symptoms you may be experiencing. With a mutual understanding of what will be beneficial to you in your therapy journey, we will create goals that you wish to work towards in your sessions. Participating in therapy is a personal choice and one you must make for yourself. You are the leader of your treatment and how you choose to participate. We will provide feedback and transparent communication in a way that will hopefully guide you in making the best choices for yourself.
-
Do you provide in-person therapy or online counseling sessions? We provide both in-person sessions and telehealth online sessions. The choice between in-office and online therapy is a personal one that will be dictated by what fits your needs, schedule, and lifestyle.
-
What if I decide that this is not the right fit for me or I do not want to participate in therapy anymore? You have the right to decide to continue or end therapy at any time. It is important to give yourself a chance to see if therapy is right for you and if we are a good match in working together prior to ending, which can take sometimes a few sessions to fully know this. Our intention is always to ensure that you are getting your needs met and your best interest comes first.
-

We also accept PPO / out of network plans. If you have a specific question about your insurance and are unsure if we accept it, please reach out to schedule a free consultation.
-
If you are not using your insurance for treatment, the fees are as follows:First appointment – intake and evaluation: $200.00 (1 hour) 55 minute sessions - $150.00 45 minute sessions: $125.00 Less than one hour per 15 minutes : $45.00 ( this may include a consultation, provider collaboration, or other task outside of normal session time) I also provide good faith estimates for those who have financial hardships and are unable to pay the full session fee ( If I do not accept your insurance). Please schedule a free initial consultation to discuss this option and determine if you would qualify.
-
What therapeutic approaches do you use?We use many different approaches to counseling and therapy!! You are an individual and what works for you may not work for someone else. We believe in treating the person with full consideration of your biology, psychology, and your environment. What this means is that what happens around you is just as important as what happens within you. Cognitive behavioral therapy(CBT), psychoeducation, mindfulness, DBT techniques, trauma processing, and acceptance and commitment (ACT) to oneself are all important approaches that we utilize but am not limited to when working with you.
-
Do you prescribe medication? We do not prescribe medication but partner with providers that do. If you are questioning whether medication could be helpful or is needed, this is something we can discuss and review together so you may make the best-informed decision and determine if a referral for medication should be made.
